A PAIR OF QAJAR GOLD DAMASCENED AND ENGRAVED LARGE STEEL BOTTLES, each rising from the flaring base through a rounded boss to the elongated drop-shaped body with cup-shaped mouth and sloping rim, the long sloping shoulder engraved with fine flowering vine around shaped cartouches damascened witrh central floral oval panels, similar part panels above and below, a band of semi-circuilar panels below with floral engraved swags around radiating sun motifs, the foot with a band of engraving and damascening similar to the shoulder, the neck with a further similar two bands, the mouth with a simple gold arcaded band below the sloping floral rim, 19th century (very slightly rubbed)
