A FINE SYRIAN TURQUOISE GLAZED POTTERY TABOURET, the hexagonal top with six flat sides resting on cylindrical feet, the top moulded with a lattice of hexagonal depressions alternating with rosettes, each of the six sides pierced with a central arched aperture flanked by moulded columns and leafy spandrels, a panel above of leaves around the strong thuluth word 'al-sa'adat' (felicity), a similar panel below with cusped lower outline containing scrolling arabesques (repaired, areas of irridescence)
