A FINE NISHAPUR BLACK, WHITE AND RED GLAZED CONICAL BOWL, the white interior with a central very small black rosette, two similar rosettes at each side, a rectangular panel below containing a brick-red stylised kufic inscription, a bold red and black palmette above, the exterior plain, 10th century (repaired, very slight restoration, areas of glaze flaking on reverse)
