A FINE AMOL SGRAFFIATTO CONICAL BOWL with slightly inverted rim on short foot, the white interior incised through the slip to the red ground with two highly stylised figures of birds highlighted with green dotted motifs, a shallow panel at each side with scrolling arabesques on a hatched ground similarly highlighted, the rim with a plain green stripe, plain exterior, circa 12th century (repaired, glaze well preserved)
