A FINE SPANISH INLAID CABINET ON STAND of rectangular form, the front with two banks of drawers, some now converted to cupboards, flanking a central cupboard, similar cupboards and drawers above and below the panelled front of each drawer with a band of katamkar mosaic geometric panels within geometric borders, the central door with hardwood parquetry lozege lattice design below the carved scrolling and inscription double arched surmount, opening to reveal a polychrome stucco model of an interior from the Alhambra palace in Granada, a polychrome glass panelled light above, the sides with simple inlaid stringing forming geometric lozenges around the steel loop handles, the base with arched front, each arch formed of carved and pierced blackwood scrolling arabesque spandrels resting on faceted pillars, the base with central inlaid Nasrid inscribed motto between two stellar panels, further Nasrid inscription panels at the front, the back with further inlaid geometric motifs below large stellar panels, circa 1900 (very slight damage, mostly to cresting)
