A PERSIAN TURQUOISE INSET GOLD RING, the flat shank with engraved and applied foliate panels, two stylised atlas figures supporting the bezel, the bezel with a band of scrolling palmette vine divided into panels by the four claws holding the stone, and ANOTHER, slightly smaller, with very similar decoration, the engraved parts also inlaid with niello, and ANOTHER, the wire shank widening to the conical bezel with stylised engraved and applied floral panels, a band of stylised inscription formed from applied wire below the stone, all circa 13th century (slight damages and rubbing) (3)
