Egg Patent' and fitted with safety-valve, finely figured walnut half-stock, engraved iron mounts including trigger-guard decorated with a pointer and with urn finial, chequered grip, gold escutcheon, silver barrel-bolt escutcheons, and original iron-tipped ramrod (left lock replaced), by Durs Egg, London, No. 779, the barrels forged by William Fullerd, circa 1805
