A SINGLE-TRIGGER OVER-AND-UNDER PERCUSSION BELT PISTOL, converted from flintlock, with rebrowned twist octagonal barrels each with gold line and touch-hole, the top barrel signed in gold, sighted and with two gold lines at the breech, engraved tang, signed and engraved bevelled locks (safety-catches removed), chequered walnut butt (old repair below right lock) cut for a shoulder-stock, engraved iron mounts, silver escutcheon engraved with initials, long iron belt hook, and horn-tipped wooden ramrod, by Durs Egg, London, early 19th Century 13¼in.
