A VIENNA-STYLE CLARET-GROUND PLATE painted with a scene entitled Die Rache der Grazien of Venus chastising Cupid by tying him to a tree and breaking his bow over her knee, with two nymphs in attendance in an extensive landscape, the border reserved with pale-blue oval cartouches enclosing pink squares, divided by orange quatrefoils, enriched with gilt foliage and with yellow borders; and another painted with a scene entitled Antonius' Tod. of a maiden and cherubs in attendance on a sleeping male hunter in a landscape, within a similar border, both with blue beehive mark and black script, circa 1890
