A VIENNA-STYLE PLATE painted by Wagner with a portrait of a young girl with long fair hair, smelling a white carnation and wearing a plumed blue cap, claret robe and a fur-trimmed décolletage, entitled l'oeillet blanc within a burnished and tooled gilt well, the celadon border richly gilt with a band of foliate scrolls edged with chains of beads and reserved with vases within quatrefoils and leaves within oval cartouches (minute areas of gilding lacking and slight re-gilding at rim), signed, blue beehive mark, black script, patter number 759, circa 1890
