AN ORMOLU-MOUNTED BRONZE, GRIOTTE AND BRECHE VIOLETTE MARBLE MYSTERY CLOCK, surmounted by a figure of a nymph, after a model by Albert Carrier Belleuse, supporting the pendulum in her raised left hand and holding some flowers in her other hand, the dial and movement within a square-shaped case flanked to each side with a lion mask and four rosettes on a fluted waisted support with bulbous base with seven acanthus-cast mounts, on circular spreading socle with square base, the bezel inscribed THOs AGNEW & SONS/SPECTÉ, with gilt Roman chaptering, the twin-train movement partially visible striking on a bell with blued-steel moon hands, the backplate of the movement engraved EF/Calibre 2.
