6 volumes, 4° (275 x 200mm and 305 x 230mm). Approximately 1,016 coloured plates extracted from various issues of The Garden, including a few repeats, most plates in vols. I-III with manuscript numbering. (A few plates shaved, occasionally affecting image, first few plates of vol. III scored and repaired, a little spotting and offsetting, mainly onto blank versos, one or two plates stuck together.) Contemporary purple morocco-backed boards (rubbed). Provenance: Frederick DuCane Godman (armorial bookplate). Cf. Nissen BBI 2264. Sold as a periodical, not subject to return. (6)
