4 volumes, large 2° (545 x 465mm.). 4 hand-coloured lithographic pictorial titles, volume II with one leaf of text attached at the end, 100 hand-coloured lithographic plates (two with two views) by Hullmandel after Nash, mounted on heavy card and individually captioned in pencil or pen and ink, within ruled borders. (Occasional light spotting to mounts.) Late 19th-century red straight-grained morocco gilt, the covers with elaborate borders composed of various rules and roll-tools, the inner panel with large centrally placed circular motifs incorporating various stamps, small tools and armorials, with fan corner pieces echoing the central design, gilt turn-ins, g.e., by Morley of Oxford.
