THE PROPERTY OF A GENTLEMAN
Four of the following five lots were uniformly bound by C. Kalthoeber for members of the Gostling family, possibly William Augustus whose watercolour drawings are bound in with the St. Non. The Zurlauben is a subscriber's copy and their arms are pasted on half-titles of some of the other volumes. They were sold as a collection by Henry Sotheran & Co. prior to 1897.
