8 volumes, 4° (360 x 258mm.). Aquatint dedication and 307 hand-coloured aquatint views with grey wash borders only (lacking plate 174, Pier at Fortrose), and with duplicates of plates 23, 28 and 30, and the uncoloured plate of Kemaes Head, by and after Daniell, folding map (torn in folds. Some leaves slightly soiled). Volume I contemporary russia gilt (rubbed, rebacked with original spine laid down), vols.II-VIII later half calf, spines gilt (scuffed at extremities).

A composite set with the plates in volumes V-VIII on card, of which Tooley claims only 25 sets were issued. Abbey Scenery 16; Tooley 177 ("The most important colour plate book on British Topography"). (8)
