A PAIR OF CRICKLITE LAMPS MODELLED AS A FRENCH FISHER BOY AND GIRL modelled by James Hadley wearing rustic dress, he with his left hand on his hip and holding a wicker basket in his right, wearing clogs, she with a wicker bag over her shoulder and barefoot, their clothes painted in shot enamels, each standing before a tapering stone column moulded with meandering ivy and with an acanthus-leaf terminal, on rocky shaped-oval bases (chips to his base on left front corner and on reverse, two cracks to her base underneath, bases drilled, wear to gilding), green printed marks and impressed marks, model numbers 1202, date codes for 1903, converted to table-lamps
