A LOVE BIRD FLOWER HOLDER, the two birds perched on a bamboo fence, painted in bright-green with orange faces and coloured tail-feathers, flanked by two leafy slender hollow sticks of bamboo and by others smaller, on a rocky oval base (restoration to one small stick of bamboo, chip, crack and restoration to rim of another, crack to base underneath, chips to base on reverse and to one bird's wing-tips), impressed marks and registration mark, model number 608, circa 1877
