Kirk of rectangular section with an arched top and detachable white figure of Time, the top with a wreath of oeil de perdrix flanked by flowered cartouches, above a projecting shelf, the waisted lower part reserved with a young man seated holding a scythe in a field of corn within an oval cartouche, flanked by flowered cartouches and moulded acanthus at the corners, the moulded details enriched in gilding (restoration to front right corner of shelf, to top on reverse and to Time and chips and crack to base, cracks on reverse, some glaze cracks and crazing, minute chip to bottom of Time), iron-red printed mark, circa 1858
