A GEORGE IV SHAPED-OBLONG INKSTAND, on four curved bracket feet and with moulded border, fitted with three square frames, two with detachable silver-mounted inkwells, the central frame with deachable taperstick with ring handle, detachable nozzle and conical extinguisher, engraved with initials and beneath the base with two inscriptions, one dated 1830, the other 1864, by Robert Garrard, 1826
