HOKKEI AND KEISAI: surimono, kakuban, both 20.7 x 18.1cm., a young lady seated before a bonseki, with two poems in a scroll-shaped cartouche by Fukukitei Ayanushi and Ifukutei; another of a woman and a dog, two poems in a similar cartouche by Fukuyuten Masayoshi and Fukuhoen Naondo, both signed Hokkei--good impression and colour, slightly soiled, the first restored; and five others by Keisai, one with a woman drinking on a veranda, the second with two courtesans and a kamuro dozing, the third with two women by a teahouse among blossoming cherry trees, the fourth with a woman picking greens by a farmer and the last of a woman carrying a covered tray by a man planting a pine tree, all signed Keisai--good impressions, slightly faded, various condition (7)
