KUNISADA (1786-1864): surimono, kakuban,each approx. 20.8 x 18.1cm., the first with a lady carrying a young pine branch on a tray, the second with a seated mask carver with a mask with kumadori, the third with a young woman with a basket, the fourth with a young man with a large abacus by a potted tree, all signed Tojuen Kunisada ga--all very good impressions, slightly faded and soiled, the last lightly backed; and four others, the first, 20.7 x 18.2cm., of Ichikawa Danjuro VII performing a tea ceremony, the second, 20.7 x 18.2cm., with a courtesan in her fineries, the third, 20.9 x 18.6cm., with two ladies among young pines and the last, 17.7 x 17cm., all signed Gototei Kunisada ga or Kunisada ga--all good impressions, slightly faded and soiled, all but the last lightly backed (8)
