A set ot ten mahogany dining-chairs of this model from Wicklow Castle, Co.Wicklow, were offered at Hy. Duke and Son., Dorchester, on 29 October 1993 (result not known at time of printing)
A related settee with ribboned oak-leaf splats inhabited by a bird formed part of the H.P.Dean collection at Bridgefont House, Iver, Buckinghamshire. It is illustrated in P.Macquoid, The Age of Mahogany, London, 1906, fig.121 and was subsequently sold in these Rooms, 14 June 1909, lot 8
