Designed in the early 19th century 'antique' manner with Grecian 'crepidome'-stepped plinths on winged paw feet, the tables are brass-inlaid and richly mounted in the French manner popularised by the specialist London 'Buhl Manufacturers' such as Thomas Parker of Air Street, Jamar of Wardour Street and Louis Le Gaigneur of Queen Street (see: M.
