An unusal gold quarter-repeating and musical double-dialled pocketwatch
Case: Drum-shaped glazed to both sides
Front dial: White enamel chapter-ring with Arabic numerals, engraved gilt dial plate to centre depicting an Alpine scene, blued steel moon hands, the reverse with white enamel calendar ring with outer date ring, inner day ring, the centre engraved to show a lakeland scene
Movement: Gilt repeating on two gongs by depressing the pendant, the musical mechanism operated by a button in the band playing on the double-sided pin wheel with 27 seperate teeth
