The Visconti's description of the Museo Pio Clementino was started by Giambattiasta in 1782, and following his death continued in volumes II- VIII by his son Ennio Quirino. The final two volumes were published in 1807 and 1808. The present copy varies with the collation of Cicognara 3467 having additional plates in volumes II and IV. (5)
