A FINE WHITE JADE CIRCULAR TABLE SCREEN
18th/19th century
Carved in deep relief to one side with a mountainous landscape with an Immortal holding a gnarled staff followed by an attendant boy carrying a flowering sprig standing beside a river bank and set within a pavilion scene with pine trees and a cascading waterfall in the distance, all beneath swirling clouds, the reverse with two deer resting beneath a pine tree amidst craggy cliffs, the white stone of a pale celadon hue with some white mottling
