A SUPERB PAIR OF IMPERIAL WHITE JADE BOWLS, COVERS AND STANDS
18th century
Each bowl with plain evenly-rounded sides, carved in low relief at the everted rim with a lappet band, the almost hemispherical cover with a raised lotus flower-head laced with a reticulated band of four bats between clouds suspending four loose rings, the highly polished stone of an even, translucent, milky, pale celadon tone with occasional shades of russet
