engraving, 1582, an undescribed state either before or after Bohlin's second state (of three), with the lettering 'Paulli Caliarij Veronensis Opus Giacomo Franco Forma', a fine and rich impression, the guiding lines of the lettering distinct, watermark encircled Bird, with small margins, a repaired tear lower left, three tiny wormholes in the angel's left hand and at the lower right corner, some brown staining towards the upper edge, otherwise generally in good condition
