A SILVER-GILT STEM-CUP AND COVER, AND A SILVER BOWL

The stemcup and cover of ovoid shape supported on a spreading foot and surmounted by a waisted knop finial, the entire surface worked with horizontal bands of floral scrolls and a wider band of birds in flight among flowers, some gilding remaining; the bowl with a low foot ring finely worked around the exterior with a row of heart-shaped floral motifs below pairs of geese in flight, the roundel within the foot ring with a pair of mandarin ducks below two geese in flight
