The heavily cast bowl with an inner and outer ridge below the rounded flaring rim, decorated with several bands of leafy lotus scrolls, surface wear, slight bruises
5in. (13cm.) diam.

Lot Essay

A bowl of very similar shape, with similar recessed outer ridge, can be found in the Pierre Uldry Collection, illustrated by H.Brinker and A.Lutz in Chinesisches Cloisonné, Zürich 1985, no.77
