The present figure of Christ is heavily influenced by Tilmann Riemenschneider (Bier, loc. cit.). However, the drapery lacks the sharp V-folds which are so characteristic of Riemenschneider, and the figure of Christ is less idealised than those of the master. Here, the Risen Christ is shown in a gaunt, realistic stance.
