A BRONZE PENDANT RELIQUARY CROSS
ASIA MINOR/PALESTINE, 6TH TO 9TH CENTURY
Hinged at top and bottom, engraved on one side with the Virgin praying, identified by an inscription, and on the other with a cruciform pattern with five settings for glass inlay, traces of which still survive.
