Lot Essay

Dear Sir,

We are in receipt of your letter dated January 1 with enclosed photographs of your pretty gold and black and white enamel bracelet with links designed as serpents. We should be very happy to offer the above in one of our London jewellery sales and would suggest that you bring it into our office on a weekday, bringing a copy of this letter, and one of our specialists can take it from you and give you a receipt. The sale dates for this year are April 13, June 22, October 7 (with a special antique section) December 7 and entries close approximately eight weeks before each date.
From the photographs we would estimate the value of your bracelet at 2500-3000 pounds and we would like to illustrate it in the catalogue in order to attract the interest of buyers.
Thankyou for your approach and we much look forward to seeing the bracelet in due course.

Yours faithfully,

Christie, Manson and Woods
