AN ATTIC RED-FIGURE SKYPHOS, attributed to the Agathon Painter, the deep bowl with twin horizontal loop handles, the exterior decorated in red-figure showing,
Side A: running youth wearing a himation and with curly hair bound in a fillet, looks back over his right shoulder with hands outstretched to either side, a KALOS inscription to the left of his head
Side B: another draped figure running in pursuit with hands outstretched in front, both scenes with encircling ground line, repaired, circa 450 B.C.
