A HELLENISTIC SILVER AND GILT BOWL, footless, with flaring sides and everted rim, with plain exterior, the interior decorated with a chased gilded band around the middle, with panels of decoration comprising four pairs of panels, two with crosshatching and two with interlocking triangles and a cross, each dividing four panels of overlapping diamonds, all further decorated with dots, punched circles and light grooves, flanked above and below by a row of punched circles and a chased line, a chased encircling line below the rim, circa 2nd Century B.C.
