A FINE LARGE FAMILLE ROSE BLUE-GROUND FISHBOWL

Enamelled around the body with two large leaf-shaped panels enclosing a brightly coloured terraced garden scene with two ladies and a boy at play, divided by two lion-mask ring handles and two smaller star-shaped panels with lotus plants, all reserved on a blue ground with gilt 'cracked-ice' and prunus-blossoms design, all between geometric and floral bands at the shoulder and foot, the interior enamelled and gilt with carp among aquatic plants, the large flat rim with a copper-red and gilt trellis-pattern ground and eight chrysanthemum flowers
