The artist's eponymous work is a polyptych of the Marriage of Saint Catherine, with Saints Francis, Tobias and the Angel Michael, and Louis of Toulouse, in the church of San Donato in the village of Borgo alla Collina. His works were first recognised by Georg Pudelko (The Maestro del Bambino Vispo, Art in America, vol. XXVI, no. 2, April 1938, pp. 47-72)
