Lot Essay

Isobel Nicholas was married to the political journalist, Sefton Delmar, and the composers Constant Lambert and Alan Rawsthorne. She became a painter of some repute and designed two ballets, 'Tiresias' (1951) and 'Madame Chrysantheme (1955)
