AN INNSBRUCK INFANTRY HALF-ARMOUR (HARNASCH), comprising a burgonet with one-piece skull with prominent roped comb and fixed fall, struck with the Habsburg Bindenschild mark, neck-guard of two lames and deep hinged cheek-pieces each pierced with a circle of small holes, Almain collar of three plates front and rear, hinged together on the left, with spaudlers of six plates, heavy breast-plate struck with armourer's mark, PM, and with medial ridge drawn out towards the bottom, roped neck flange and moveable gussets, skirt of two lames, back-plate with culet of one lame, bluntly pointed tassets of seven lames each, full vambraces with turning joints and upper- and lower-cannons with bold heart-shaped side-wings, the main edges turned and roped throughout and partly with recessed borders, circa 1555-60
