A CAUCASIAN SILVER-MOUNTED MIQUELET-LOCK PISTOL with ealier barrel signed on the gold-damascened sighting flat (signature illegible) and with chiselled and gold-damascened decoration at the breech (damascening worn), iron lock with original leather finger-pad, wooden full stock covered in black leather and with full silver mounts nielloed with arabesques and foliage including three pierced barrel-bands, ball pommel with silver suspension ring and embroidered leather tab, back-strap with nielloed owner's monogram, facted iron trigger, and later horn-tipped ramrod, Russian silver marks dated 1853 19½in.
