TURQUOISE 'FAIENCE' AMULET OF A SEATED BABOON, sacred to Thoth, the god of wisdom -- 2cm. high; another similar of a seated cat -- 2cm. high; Ptaichos, the dwarf god, wearing a raised scarab on his head, his two hands clasping snakes across his stomach, suspension loop on back, 2.6cm. high, Ptolemaic, 4th-2nd Century B.C.; an amuletic bust of Bes, the god wearing a feathered crown and broad collar, suspension hole through the top of the head -- 3.7cm. high; and two miniature 'tankards' -- 1.8cm. high, max., Late Period/Ptolemaic, 6th-3rd Century B.C.
