BLAKE, William. The Man sweeping the Interpreter's Parlour (Binyon 474; Keynes XI; Bindman 619b; Essick XX, Impression 2g)
white-line metal cut, printed in black ink, ca. 1794 or ca. 1822 (see note to previous lot), on wove paper, with the fragment of a J Whatman watermark (not recorded by Essick but described by Keynes), a fine, richly inked impression, with very good contrasts, with margins, slight surface dirt at the upper right margin conrner, generally in excellent condition
