The bearded figure shown standing stiffly atop a square plinth, wearing long robes with incised scroll borders and unusual upturned shoes, his face cast with a serene expression and his eyes closed below a foliate crown inlaid with a single ruby red 'jewel', both hands poised to hold a hu tablet in front of the chest
