Song/Jin dynasty, 11th-12th century
The shallow domed cover fluidly painted in brown over a white slip with a peony spray, all under a clear glaze, the shallow box similarly covered in a white slip and clear glaze and raised on a very low ring foot surrounding the unglazed base
