An Unusual Qingbai Molded Shallow Bowl
Southern Song dynasty, 13th century
With slightly rounded flared sides, the interior molded with a central lotus spray medallion surrounded by six panels, each containing different flowers issuing from a different vase of either meiping or yuhuchunping shape, all below a keyfret border, and under a glaze of pale blue tone repeated on the exterior below the unglazed rim, the glaze continuing over the shallow foot ring to partially cover the base
