A Rare Painted Stucco Relief of Buddha
Sui/early Tang dynasty, circa late 6th century
Possibly from Dunhuang, molded in relief with the Buddha seated in dhyanasana in front of a mandorla, wearing full robes, the whole painted in white, tan, brown, cream and pale milky green pigments
