A Narrative of the Expedition to Botany Bay; with an account of New South Wales, its productions, inhabitants, &c., to which is subjoined a list of the civil and military establishments of Port Jackson, London: for J. Debrett, 1789. 8°, half title (occasional light spotting and inkstaining, ex library copy), publisher's list at the end, later red half morocc.

Second edition. NMM Catalogue Voyages & Travel 735: 'Tench sailed with Governor Phillip in the first convict fleet to Australia, 1787-8, where he remained for four years. He was concerned in the establishment of a settlement at Port Jackson, a full account of which he published in a further work in 1793'.
