Notes extracted from a Private Journal, written during a tour through a part of Malabar, and among the Neilgherries: including an account of the topography of Oatakamund, Bombay: American Press, 1834. 8° (20 x 12.7cm.) (Small stain in upper outer corner of title, upper margins of last few leaves "nibbled at", a few light spots), contemporary half calf and marbled boards (rebacked with old spine partly relaid, covers scuffed, new endpapers). Provenance: Robert James Mignon (bookplate); National Army Museum (library stamps on fore-edges and lower margin of. p. 20). FIRST EDITION.
