A Spanish simulated tortoise shell, parquetry, gilt metal mounted and brass inlaid vargueñ, 20th century
of architectural design, the cabinet with a pierced gallery surmounted by crowned, spread winged eagles, centred by a broken pediment with a conformingly decorated door below (locked) and a bank of four drawers to either side (some locked) on claw and ball feet (one foot detached) and carrying handles to the sides, the breakfront, inlaid stand on ring turned legs joined by an X-stretcher - 55¼in. (140.5cm.) wide, 90in. (229cm.) high, 20½in. (52cm.) deep
