SAMMY COX Samuel Richmond Cox was born in Darvel, Ayrshire in 1924 and joined Rangers in May 1946 as a professional, after spells as an amateur with Queen's Park, Third Lanark and Dundee. He won a total of four League Championships and three Scottish Cup finals with Rangers.
